I am writing on behalf of John Browne whom I worked for. John was the Director of Sales and I was his first hire as a salesman on his staff. In 2000, we worked tirelessly to improve the profitability and success of our company and it paid off. We more than tripled the amount of material (Plastics) that we had moved the previous year and the most significant reason for our drastic improvement was the drive and work ethic of John Browne. I learned so much that year not only about business but about life itself. John Browne is a human being that is genuine, hard-working, intelligent, and inspired. He made an impact in my life that I still see in my daily work today. There is no doubt that he will be a smashing success in his new endeavor. He refuses to accept anything less than the best effort he can give and will not tolerate losing in any aspect of his life. He is a good person whom I consider a good friend, someone who molded me during a period of my life in which I needed it the most. I feel blessed for having John a part of my life.

Through Mr. Browne's efforts Fiber Tech became recognized as one of the largest exporters of recycled plastic resin shipping over 120 40,000 lb. containers of resin per month to Hong Kong.
In addition, the North American operations was responsible for supplying over 47% of Tyco's Plastic and Adhesives raw material. This division employed over 9,000 strong and had secured name brand contracts with Glad, Hefty, and many generic brand trash bags.
When the polystyrene market spiked Mr. Browne was responsible for introducing polypropylene as a replacement material used to make flower pots and trays. His ingenuity was responsible for the resurgence of Phillips brand polypropylene and saved American manufacturing companies billions of dollars. Mr. Browne and his team secured such a large quantity of polypropylene that they were able dictate pricing on a international level, achieved record profits, and still saved their clients nearly 300% on their raw material costs. He was also responsible for introducing several other cheap materials such as calcium carbonate, talc, wood, and recycled paper that increased the company's profitability.
